Raghav Juyal

Raghav Juyal is an Indian Dancer-Choreographer born in Dehradun. He made his debut as a dance contestant at a reality show in year 2012. Juyal did not have any prior training, but that did not stop him from pursuing his dreams. His unique style left a mark on the minds of the judges as well as the audience. He created a fusion between the movements of a crocodile and a cockroach and called it the crock-style and called himself the Crockroaxz. Raghav learned dance from Television and videos on the internet.

Despite his exceptional performances, he could not make it to the Top 18 until; they made an exception and brought him back to the show. He gained popularity among viewers and remained at the top throughout the competition and finished second with 3,481,685 votes.

After the success of his first reality show stint, Raghav choreographed for a show called Dance India Dance. He was chosen for his uniqueness and his original moves. Later, he went on to choreograph for his second show Dance ke Super kids (Super kids of Dance) and worked as an actor in Anybody Can Dance 2, directed by Remo D’Souza. He has hosted shows like Dance Plus and Prem ki Diwali.

He has now become a youth icon, inspiring several young dancers who don’t have access to resources to learn and pursue their passion. Sometimes, money does not matter. It’s the dedication that counts and Raghav has proved it through his phenomenal work. His versatility and charismatic personality added to his performance and brought him recognition and fame.
